Caravans
Carts and wagons carry your mines' and outposts' output home along the roads, on their own.
You do not have to haul goods home yourself. Once 30 or more units are waiting at a mine or an outpost, a caravan sets off for your city along the roads.
| Team | Carries | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| Horse and cart | 120 | 2.2 m/s |
| Ox wagon | 160 | 1.5 m/s |
| Pair of horses and a covered wagon | Loads of 60 and more | — |
- Stone and ore always go by ox.
- A mine outside your nation's homeland sends only a quarter cart.
- A mixed load from an outpost carries gold first.
- What your city's storage cannot take on arrival is lost. Keep room.
Caravans are real: a horse or ox you can see on the road, with guards. They can be attacked. See Raiding caravans and wrecks.
A supply cart is different: a wagon of food that follows a leader instead of a road, to feed your nation's fighters far from home. See Homeland and supply.
