Blocking and reporting

/block and a name

Stop seeing that player's chat and their group, trade and guild invitations. They are not told. Blocks are kept between sessions.

/unblock and a name

Undo a block.

/blocklist

See who you have blocked.

/report, a name and a reason

Report a player to the Game Masters.

/reporttarget and a reason

Report the player you have selected.

Say what happened in the reason. You can have one open report per player: reporting the same person again does not add weight, but a clear reason does.

Report a player

Open the player's menu and choose Report…: click their name in chat, your group, your friends list, the guild roster or the target frame, or right-click them (on a phone, tap the name or hold the character). Pick what kind of trouble it is, say what happened, and tick Also block this player to stop hearing from them at once. For something said in chat, right-click the line (on a phone, hold it) and choose Report Line…: the line is quoted in your report and you can add to it. A line in chat tells you when the report is filed.
