Rankings

The realm's leaderboards, chronicle, seasons and champions, and the titles you can wear.

Keys/rankings

Type /rankings, or press Esc and choose Rankings, to see who leads the realm. Pick a board on the left and a period at the top: this week, this month or all time. Each board shows its first fifty, and your own place (or your guild's or nation's) is pinned under them when you are further down.

War

  • Slayers ranks players by the foes they defeated. Each foe counts once in the period, however often they fall and whichever of their characters it was, so hunting the same victim again and again does not climb the board. Kills and deaths are shown beside it.
  • Warbands and Nations at war add up the same for a guild's members and for a whole nation.
  • Blows within your own nation are sparring and never count here. Every kill still counts in your /pvp record.

Conquest

  • Guild ground and Nation ground rank the land a guild or a nation controls, in square kilometres, from the same territory the world map draws. Now is the land held at the last count (taken every 15 minutes); a week or a month is the average held through it, so holding ground for an hour does not top a week.
  • Guild warfare and Nation warfare count victories: a siege won (the defenders' Heartwood fell while your Warstone stood), a siege defended (the attackers' Warstone fell) and a mine seized from another guild.

Deeds

  • Apex hunters counts the great roaming beasts slain. Everyone who fought one in its last two minutes shares the kill.
  • Masters of a craft shows the most practised hands of each profession: pick the profession above the list.

Memory

  • Chronicle tells the realm's great events as they happened: sieges won and defended, mines seized, beasts slain, Heartwoods planted, oaths of fealty and champions crowned.
  • Realm firsts remembers who did each great deed first: the first to slay each kind of apex beast, the first Heartwood of each rank from 3 to 8, the first master (level 100) of each profession and the first siege won.
  • The Fallen lists those who died for ever in the Deep, newest first.

Seasons

  • A season is a quarter of the year (January to March, April to June, and so on). Nothing is reset when one ends: it is only how the realm keeps score.
  • When a season ends, the nation that held the most ground on average through it is crowned its champion. Every guild of that nation then bears a gold canton with a crown on its arms (on its banners, capes and shields too) until the next season's champion is crowned.
  • The season's best Slayer and best hunter of great beasts are named beside it. Seasons lists every champion, and the ground boards' Season button shows the race so far.

Titles

  • Great deeds earn titles: being of a champion nation, the season's Slayer or Huntmaster, among the first to slay a kind of great beast, mastering a profession, being in a guild when it wins or defends a siege, slaying great beasts, defeating many foes.
  • Open Your titles in the Rankings window and press Wear on one: everyone then sees it under your name. No title takes it off.
