The Haven: Bridhill island
One island where players can barely hurt each other and the guards defend everyone. New characters start there.
Bridhill island, off the west coast across the strait from Ghodog, is held under the Dove Peace. On the island, and on the water within a few hundred metres of its shore:
- Another player's blow takes at most 2 health from you, however hard it lands, and never stuns you or throws you down. Spells, arrows, damage over time and a player's pets and siege engines are held to the same limit.
- No player can hold you there. Another player's stuns, roots, slows, silences, fears, charms and confusions do not take hold, so nobody can pin you down or drive you off the island.
- The town guards defend everyone. Whoever hurts a player there turns every guard within earshot against them.
- Creatures and NPCs hit as hard as anywhere. The peace is between players only.
- No city may be planted there, nor one whose ground or siege ring would reach the island, and no outpost may stand on it. It is nobody's ground. The island has no mine.
Chat tells you when you step onto the dove ground and when you leave it, and the banner names the haven as you arrive. Turn on the world map's The Haven layer to see exactly where it ends; hover it to read about the place.
Each of the island's three towns has a Waykeeper, who will send you to the mainland's capitals and back for a fare, and make any of them your home: Madfallsti to Losts is the shortest crossing. See Waykeepers: home and travel.
